Sketch 394

Sketch #394

Today's Sketch is created by Michelle and digitized by Brandi.

This week we are also partnering with Double Trouble Challenges!

THING 1: Trouble Maker
says, "Our requirement for this challenge is "Stitch It Up".  There are many possibilities using paper scraps, stencils, and/or embossing folders to create patchwork, quilt, and/or knit designs.  Consider using punch- or die-cutting, hand or machine sewing, piercing, hand-drawn stitching, needlework or cross-stitching, etc. So, keep calm and stitch on... stitch it up and show us your creativity."

You can stop here...
OR you may OPT to use these two sketches from Double Dare's challenge below - or not. However, they are excellent sketches in which to incorporate Thing 1's requirement, "Stitch It Up".  Feel free to change the orientation of the sketch... rotate the sketch or use its mirror image.  Again, you can stop here... OR you can choose to use Twisted Sister's fun Optional Twist below.

THING 2: Double Dare
says, "Whether or not you have used Twisted Sister's optional twist, a humorous/funny image or sentiment", you may still enter your project at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge if you used one or both sketches. Make sure when you have used at least one of the sketches below. It must be created and submitted to Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges by the dates indicated below."

THING 3: Twisted Sister
says, "Stitching and sewing... now that's serious stuff. You know it's tough for me to get serious, but I do like stuff... so let's add a little humor and create a project that will also 'Keep Us in Stitches' and include humorous or funny sentiment or image on your project."

This is an OPTIONAL TWIST but you will be awarded an additional chance in Double Trouble's random draw if you include this twist in your project.

The Top 3 from last week will be announced on Wednesday, as well as the design team creations using this week's sketch. We decided to do it this way so no one was influenced by our interpretations right off the start. It will allow you to start your own between now and then and check ours out on Wednesday.

Remember that your creation does NOT have to be a card, it can be absolutely anything as long as you used this sketch somehow. If you use this sketch to create more than one project feel free to enter more than once, each project must be linked separately.

Don't want to miss any posts?? Sign up for email updates from our challenge blog so you don't miss out. No worries, there will only be 2 postings per week. (see side bar for email subscription)

Guidelines for entering can be found here.

Top 3 will be chosen by the Design Team and will be announced on the Wednesday after submissions close, along with the design teams creations for that week. Check back to see who made Top 3 and if it's you then grab the blog badge over on the sidebar for your blog and display it proudly!

Now it's your turn to create!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
